Artillery.  Daniel enlisted in Bat'ry B. in Aug of 1864 serving until discharged in June '65."<br>Miller gives further  military records of Daniel N Wimer, Daniel M Wimer/Wymer, (indicating birth years 1836, or 1838)and brother William Wimer; and a grave for Daniel W. Weimer (calculated birth year 1832)with marker for Co. G. 134th PA Vols. at Zion Baptist Cemetery in Worth Co., where Daniel's father Jonathan Wimer is also buried.
