All b. PA. Note: Mary Wimer, widowed in 1845, is living with a relative. The child is listed here as Sarah E. Kelly, female. Paul Myers in "The Wimer Family" (source 6) indicates that Isaac Wimer and wife Mary (Pisor) adopted the child of Rebecca Wimer (Isaac Wimer's sister) and Thomas Kelly when Rebecca died giving birth to the child. However, Myers lists the child as male and the name as Isaac Eli Kelly. We can not reconcile these differences. Neither name can be identified in later census records using the Ancestry.com search engine. |
