Source notes
- Per contributor James Voltz, In the 1880 census of Barber Co. Kansas, Lake City township, the family of Thomas B. Hagan, age 45, lives next to the family of Barned(sic) V. Stoughton, age 61. The birth date of Thomas B. Hagan (~1835) puts him in the same generation as John Edward Hagan and wife Martha Boyle. Note that his daughter was born in Missouri.
