* Per contributor James Voltz, one of ''Jane Stoughton'' (b. 1821) & ''Thomas Boyle'''s children was ''Martha Boyle''(b. 26 Mar 1843 / wed 1 July 1863 / d. 2 Mar 1873. - dates from Jim's aunt's book.) who married ''John Edward Hagan''. It is said that he was a Missouri farmer. In the 1880 census of Barber Co. Kansas, Lake City township, the family of ''Thomas B. Hagan'', age 45, lives next to the family of ''Barned(sic) V.
