This source outlines the Hogue family of Scotland through immigrant William Hoge & wife Barbara Hume, down 5 generations to William Hogue (b. 1833) & wife Mary Stickel who ''resided in Jacksville, Worth Twp., Butler Co. PA, buried West Liberty Cemetery''.  Link between this Hogue family and ours seems likely, but not established.
