Timothy Edwards for whom he had been named". He was born in Windsor, Connecticut, and thirty years later married in Hartford, Connecticut to Hannah Olcott, daughter of thomas and Sarah (Foote) Olcott. When Hannah died seven years later, Timothy "appears to have remained (in Hartford) for the following six or seven years. By 1751 he was in Somerset County, Province of New Jersey~~.
