+* Source #1, Harlem, City of New York - Maria Govert was "gd.-mother" of one of the children of Joseph Waldron.  Additional wording says Joseph sent money back to Holland "to his said mother".   It is possible that Maria Govert was his mother-in-law and thus the grandmother of Joseph's child and yet referred to simply as his mother.   From this source, researchers have assigned the name of Maria Govert as the mother of Joseph Waldron, which is problematic.  Maria Govert is also assigned as the mother of Joseph Waldron's wife, Annetje Daniels. Joseph Waldron's father is said to have been Johannes Willemsen Waldron, Maria Govert's first husband; Annetje Daniels' father is said to have been Daniel Adriaenszen Landou, Maria Govert's second husband.  This would make the married couple Annetje and Joseph  step-siblings.  "Maria Govert" may have been a common name in Amsterdam.  We believe other additional primary records are needed to establish the parentage of this couple.
