Published by Forest Press Inc., Tionesta, PA. <br /> <br /> ==Obituary Text==<br /> KATHLEEN ESTHER WORTZKEY STOUGHTON<br /> <br /> 4-15-1884 -- 2-25-1960<br /> <br /> Mrs. Kathleen E. Stoughton, 75, widow of Bernard V. Stoughton and resident of 1015 West Third Street, Oil City, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Oil City Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the mother of Gene Stoughton, an outstanding football player at Oil City some 30 years ago. He now teaches school in California. <br /> <br /> She was born at Whig Hill, Forest County, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Rudolph Wortzkey. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stoughton was a member of the Lutheran Church. She married Bernard Vonzant Stoughton on July 14, 1900. He died in 1958. <br /> <br /> Survivors include the following children: Mrs. Carrie Danko of Buffalo, N.Y.; John Stoughton and Vonzant Stoughton of Oil City; Gene Stoughton of Anaheim, California; Mrs. Kathleen Wurster Jr. and Mrs. Phyllis Loper of Venus. A daughter, Miss Virginia Stoughton, is deceased. Surviving sisters are Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell of Ford City; Mrs. Carrie Miles of Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Ada (Louise) Hill of East Hickory; Mrs. Mary Meade of Irvine, Pa. Also 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren survive. <br /> <br /> The body was removed to the Rhodes Funeral Home in Tionesta where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Arden Survey of St, Luke Lutheran Church of Venus officiating. <br /> <br /> Interment will be in the East Hickory Riverside Cemetery.</div>
