Kline.<br> In addition to the 33 perches of land in Richland Twp purchased by John Kline in 1852, there is a record of  110 acres 120 perches of land in Richland Twp., purchased by one John F. Kline on 1 Jan 1869.  The identity of John F. Kline is unknown; he was not found in 1860 or 1870 census of Clarion Co. PA. Our John Kline is not shown in any records as having a middle initial. He was baptized Johannes Klein.  Perhaps the record is for John A. (Abram) Kline.  However, neither John Kline or his son John Abram Kline lived in Richland Twp. Clarion Co. PA.  If a John F. Kline  did exist, then it is likely that both these purchases were made by him, and not by our John Kline.
 * Per 1993 correspondence of Lulu Belle (Kline) (her husband a descendant of William Kline), "''William was the youngest of 13 children'', and his father, John, died when William was a young boy. William became a carpenter & built oil rigs.  He owned a house in Venus & later a farm in Pinegrove Twp., Venango Co. PA. To verify, see map of Venus in 1877 History of Clarion Co.
