This conflicts with the death date of 1833.  If David Klein, son of John Jacob Klein, was alive in 1884, he is not the father of Aaron Kline of Porter Twp., Clarion Co. PA.
 * Ancestry.com search for Stoupher/Stoffer/Stouffer families in Venango, Northampton, Lehigh, Berks and Bucks Counties in 1840 gave multiple families.  Only the one listed as source #1 above came close to the right ages and children for the combined Stoupher and Kline families.

 * From John Whitehouse, written on back of a photo in his possession is the following:  "picture taken just before he died of heart failure after his leg was amputated on the kitchen table". I understand it was injured and developed gangrene. <br>Also, that David Kline (b.1833) "crossed the mountains on a mule", going west (apparently as a young child in company of his mother and step-father).
