 '''Claus Kuhnemuth is a tentative addition to the Kuhnemuth family tree'''.  Church records in Frankershausen show his son also named Claus was born 23 June 1729.  This son Claus (1729) bore a son who was baptized in 1771 and whose godfather was "Johannes Kuhnemuth, brother of the father". Thus two brothers, Johannes and Claus Kuhnemuth, had a father named Claus Kuhnemuth.   <br>This godfather Johannes Kuhnemuth is possibly the same person as our Johannes Frantz Kuhnemuth born~1745.  The page of notes thought to be from the Bible of [[Jacob Kuhnemuth]] (born 1796) state that Jacob's father's name was John, so he went by Johannes rather than Frantz.<br> Additional church records indicate two wives of the elder Claus Kuhnemuth, Catherina Wachsmuth married in 1726, and Dorothea Becker married in 1728.  If Johannes Frantz Kuhnemuth, born ~1745, is indeed a son of Claus, the mother would be Dorothea Becker.
