 * Since the Frederick Bible was published in Philadelphia in 1882, it was purchased at least 30 years after John & Anna Catherine immigrated to America, possibly by one of the children. The marriage and the births pages both appear to be written by the same hand. If so, they were written by someone other than Anna Catherine, whose death date is inscribed.  This is possibly the family Bible of one of the children rather than of John Frederick & Anna Catherine Kenemuth.
